About Loconva

Loconva is a privacy-first conversion workspace for images, documents, audio, video, data, archives, fonts, and ebooks. The core converter is free and works without an account.

Our Mission

Make everyday file conversion simple without making users surrender their files. Browser conversions happen entirely on your device. Accounts, subscriptions, API access, and cloud export are optional; the local converter remains available without signup or watermarks.

How It Works

• Images: Converted using the HTML5 Canvas API — instant, no upload needed.
• Data (CSV, JSON, XML, YAML, XLSX): Parsed and transformed entirely in JavaScript.
• Documents (PDF, DOCX, MD, HTML): Processed with client-side libraries like jsPDF, pdf.js, and mammoth.js.
• Audio & Video: Converted using FFmpeg.wasm — a WebAssembly port of FFmpeg that runs in your browser.
• Archives, Fonts, Ebooks: Handled by JSZip, opentype.js, and browser-native parsing.
