Getting started with conversion
Convert a file in a few straightforward steps.
Choose or drop one or more files, select an available target format for each file, then start the conversion. When processing finishes, your browser downloads the result or a ZIP for a batch.
Formats and browser compatibility
Understand which conversions are available on your device.
Loconva supports images, documents, audio, video, structured data, archives, fonts, and ebooks. Some advanced conversions depend on browser features; use a current Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge release.
File-size and batch limits
Know the browser limits before selecting files.
Free users can process files up to 1 GB and select five files per batch. Pro raises the browser file limit to 2 GB and removes the five-file batch cap, subject to the memory available on the device.
Local processing, privacy, and offline mode
Learn how Loconva keeps browser conversions private.
Supported browser conversions run locally, so source files are not uploaded to Loconva. Offline mode is optional and stores application assets on the device after you enable it; cloud export sends only the result you choose.
Accounts and data export
Manage account details and retrieve your stored data.
An account provides subscription, token, API-key, and history controls. Use Export my data on the account page to download your current profile data, and use the deletion controls if you want to remove the account permanently.
Plans, subscriptions, and token packs
Choose between browser features and API usage.
Free and Pro plans apply to browser conversion features. API token packs fund server-side API conversions. Stripe hosts checkout and billing management; access the customer portal from your account when a subscription is active.
API keys and security
Create and protect credentials for API access.
Create a labeled API key from the account page and save it immediately because the full key is shown only once. Never place keys in public code, browser scripts, screenshots, or shared logs; delete a key promptly if it may be exposed.
Google Drive and Dropbox export
Send a completed result to an optional cloud provider.
After conversion, choose Google Drive or Dropbox and authorize the provider when prompted. Only the converted result is sent. If export is unavailable, download the file normally and upload it to the provider yourself.
Conversion troubleshooting
Recover from unsupported, failed, or interrupted conversions.
Confirm the source extension is supported, choose a listed target, keep the tab open, and ensure the device has enough free memory. Retry once after refreshing. For large media files, close other tabs or try a desktop device.
Contact and escalation
Send support the details needed to investigate.
If the guides do not resolve the issue, include the source and target formats, browser and operating-system versions, approximate file size, and the exact error message. Do not attach private source files unless support explicitly requests them.
